The third channel nobody puts in the same system
Printing is a real slice of what a static campaign costs, and it is almost always invisible in the software that plans the campaign. In Nukkad the print job sits on the same record as the booking it feeds — and the day it is delivered, the mounting work order goes material-ready.

- One record
- print, mount, proof
- Preflight
- before it goes to press
- Handoff
- delivered ➝ material-ready
The formats a Nukkad print queue is built for

A campaign does not stop at the booking
Artwork arrives by phone, the wrong size gets printed, the crew turns up before the material does — and none of it is visible in the tool the campaign was planned in.
Artwork that arrives wrong
A file at the wrong size or resolution is found at the press, not at the brief — and the day is already gone.
Material that arrives late
The mounting crew is scheduled against a promise, not against a dispatch that actually happened.
Cost nobody can see
Wastage and reprints are absorbed quietly, so the real margin on a job is never actually known.

From artwork to material-ready
- 01
Quoted on area
Area, media, finishing and setup price the job — with quantity breaks and a minimum-charge floor.
- 02
Preflight, in plain language
Resolution at final size, colour mode, bleed, outlined fonts and dimensions — told to you as a sentence, not an error code.
- 03
Soft proof approved
The client signs off the proof from their portal or a link. That timestamp is what settles a later argument.
- 04
Printed and checked
Assigned to a machine and an operator, then a quality check with a photograph before it can be called ready.
- 05
Dispatched and handed off
Courier, docket and delivery photo close the job — and the mounting work order flips to material-ready.
The controls that keep a press job honest
Each of these exists because it stops a specific argument — with a client, with a vendor, or with the accounts team at the end of the month.
A failed preflight blocks the queue
A file that cannot print properly does not reach the press. A warning needs a named person to accept it.
Versioned artwork
Every upload keeps its version, its uploader and its time — so 'which file did we print' is never a question.
Wastage and reprints recorded
Spoiled area and its reason are captured, and a reprint caused by our defect carries real cost and no revenue.
Many line items, one delivery
Different sizes and media on one job, sharing one dispatch — the way a real campaign order arrives.
Machines and capacity
Press type, width, resolution and daily capacity, so the queue warns you before the promised dates slip.
Dispatch that closes the loop
Docket number, dispatched-by and a delivery photo or signature — the job is closed by evidence, not a phone call.

Routing a job to a print partner
Jobs can go to your own press or out to a partner — with the same states, the same checks and the same closing evidence.
A routed job is offered to the vendor, who accepts with a promised date or declines with a reason. Nothing sits in an inbox waiting to be chased.
A routed job carries the specification, the artwork and the delivery address — never the end advertiser's identity and never the margin on the order.
On-time percentage, defect and reprint rate and average turnaround are recorded per vendor, and shape who gets suggested next time.
Issued material and consumed area are reconciled per job, so the purchase order and the press output agree.
- Preflight before press
- Client-approved proof
- Photographed QC
- Evidence on delivery
